QUESTIONS REGARDING CONTENT & SOFTWARE IN BOOK
I appreciate readers calling all errors (typographical and otherwise) to my attention. Even though three able and competent editors from the Publisher and I made seven proofreading passes through this book there are bound to still be some errors. However, in writing a technical book such as this the final responsibility for the content lies with the author. All errors that are discovered will be posted on this FAQ page with the correction.
A few interesting statistics are worth noting regarding this book, There are:
- Approximately 130,000 words
- 478 Equations
- 48 Figures
- 30 Tables
As Questions are asked, the FAQ section will be developed. Since this is a service to book readers, the questions will be answered by referring you to specific pages in the book. The rules for Questions are summarized below:
- I will try to answer Questions submitted by E-Mail by the end of the following work day. However, there may be times when I am travelling overseas and not able to meet this time requirement.
- Questions that cannot be answered from the book will not be answered here and should be asked in the QQQA section of this Web Site.
Eventuallly, I plan to establish a Bulletin Board area on this Web Site where the scope of the questions (and discussions) can be significantly expanded.
